Mind the Traps - Cave Environment

This is the first environment for Mind the Traps, for which I'm a solo artist. Since this is a top-down party game with a zoomed out camera, one of the main goals was to have the pathway be as clear as possible. The background is a simple gradient so it doesn't distract the players, and the pathway is scattered with colorful lights, mushrooms and particles to attract the players' attention to the pathway.

I was the only artist, so I was in charge of modeling, texturing, rigging, animating, VFX and UI.

Most assets were sculpted and/or detailed in Zbrush, retopologized in Maya or Zbrush, baked in Xnormal, and textured in Substance Painter.

Since the majority of the environment is rock, I made several rock assets that weren't too uniform so I could re-use them in every level.
